OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)
The Order of Christian Initiation (OCIA), formerly known as Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), is the Catholic Church’s process for people interested in being baptized as a Catholic Christian or becoming fully initiated in the Catholic Church. Regular OCIA sessions normally runs September through May.

The OCIA team provides opportunities for the awakening or rekindling of a relationship with Jesus Christ within questioning hearts and souls. Team members greet candidates, lead small group discussions, and accompany those interested in becoming Catholic. They share their experiences, pray and facilitate discussions on the teachings of the Church.
